Salon Experience Director -
At Strandz & Company, the experience is everything. From the first interaction to the final checkout, every detail matters. The lighting, the retail presentation, the flow of the day, the way a client feels when they leave.
We are seeking a full-time, salaried Salon Experience Director to lead and elevate that experience with intention and consistency.
This is a leadership role from day one. It is not a reception position with a new title. The Salon Experience Director is responsible for protecting the Strandz standard, supporting revenue growth, and collaborating with leadership to ensure our guest journey remains polished, seamless, and memorable.
The Role
The Salon Experience Director oversees front-of-house operations and sets the tone for the salon each day. This includes managing guest flow, maintaining a refined and organized retail environment, leading checkout conversations, and ensuring hospitality standards are upheld consistently.
This role also supports revenue and retention strategy. From strengthening rebooking systems to guiding retail conversations and assisting with memberships and referrals, the Salon Experience Director understands that experience and growth work together.
Strandz is also an event-driven salon. Model Days, themed pop-ups, in-salon education, and community gatherings are part of our identity. The Salon Experience Director helps coordinate and execute these events so they feel thoughtful, organized, and aligned with our brand.
Leadership & Collaboration
This position works closely with:
- Our Salon Team Lead Manager to support daily operations and team culture
- Our Social Media Manager to ensure the in-salon experience aligns with marketing initiatives
- The Owner to refine systems, elevate standards, and support strategic growth
Monthly leadership meetings include the four core leaders of Strandz: Owner, Salon Team Lead, Social Media Manager, and the Salon Experience Director. This is a collaborative seat at the table, not a support-only role.

Lead Hair Extension Artist -
Strandz & Company is entering a new chapter with the relaunch of Strandz Hair Co, our proprietary extension line. We are building a structured, education-driven extension division rooted in consistency, innovation, and long-term growth.
The Lead Extension Artist is a senior-level, commission-only position designed for an experienced extension specialist who is ready to combine artistry with leadership. This role anchors extension education within the salon while maintaining a strong, premium clientele.
This is a commission-only role with full flexibility in scheduling. However, the Lead Extension Artist agrees to maintain a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week of availability to support consistent client growth and brand presence. In addition, this role requires a commitment to one Saturday per month to support salon traffic and extension visibility.
Mandatory meetings or required salon hours, when applicable, will be compensated at an agreed hourly rate. Model days and trainings are considered professional development and education and are not paid hours.
The Lead Extension Artist will:
- Provide advanced extension consultations, installations, maintenance, and corrective services
- Serve as the internal education lead for Strandz Hair Co
- Train and work alongside Junior Stylists and Apprentices developing extension skills
- Maintain ongoing outside education to stay current on emerging techniques, trends, and industry advancements
- Help refine service standards and installation protocols
To support elevated service standards, this role will have access to Strandz apprentices as assistants when available. This creates efficiency during installs while also providing hands-on development opportunities for emerging stylists.
This position requires independence, accountability, and collaboration. It is designed for a stylist who values autonomy while actively contributing to the growth of a premium extension brand.
This is not simply a stylist position, it is a leadership opportunity focused on mentorship, brand stewardship, and long-term impact.
Lead Colorist -
Strandz & Company is seeking a Lead Colorist to help elevate and guide the technical color standard within our salon.
This is a leadership role for a stylist who is serious about their craft and committed to ongoing growth. We are looking for someone who invests in education, stays current on industry trends, and enjoys sharing knowledge with others.
This is not simply a high-producing stylist position, this is a specialty leadership opportunity.
About the Role
The Lead Colorist is responsible for maintaining and advancing the color category within the salon.
This includes:
- Specializing in advanced color services including blonding, dimensional work, corrective color, and trend-forward techniques
- Attending outside education and bringing back structured training for the team
- Leading in-salon color education sessions
- Supporting stylists and apprentices with formulation guidance and troubleshooting
- Contributing to seasonal trend updates and service refinements
- Helping maintain consistency and quality in color services across the salon
We primarily use Davines color lines within the salon. Full training will be provided to ensure comfort with the nuances, formulation structure, and performance of this line. As a professional colorist, candidates should already have a strong understanding of foundational color theory that applies across all professional color systems.
The Lead Colorist works closely with ownership to ensure that our color services continue to evolve while staying aligned with our systems and standards.
